colorless or white hexagonal or orthorhombic crystal or granular powder. Relative density 2.662 Softening point 588 ℃, melting point 1069 ℃, boiling point 1689 ℃. Soluble in water (12G/100ML water at 25 ℃, 24.1G/100ML water at 100 ℃), insoluble in alcohol, acetone and carbon disulfide.
